USCIS Provides Immigration Relief for Citizens of Ebola Ravaging Countries

ebola_reliefAll immigrants and non-immigrants in the United States from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone must read this article and act appropriately.

This is to inform the general public that the U.S. government has been magnanimous enough to grant some temporary relief to citizens of countries currently being ravaged by Ebola virus who are at the moment in the United States. Even though the relief falls short of the temporary protected status granted to the Haitians during the earthquake, it is a step in the right direction to assist some of the citizens of the affected countries who are currently in the United States.

You Need A Lawyer to Remove Condition on Your Green Card

Law--OrderUK-Freema-Agyem-001Some immigrants will never learn from others mistakes. How can someone spend 10years in the United States under the shadow of illegal status only to get the two year green card using the services of an attorney and now decides to apply to remove the condition without the help of an attorney? What a gamble?

In the past few months, my office has been retained to help clean up the mess created by these immigrants for themselves at a huge cost to them. How can people be penny wise and pounds foolish? Many of these immigrants relied on their friends who told them that they could apply to remove the condition on their permanent resident status without using the services of an attorney. What an error?

Massive Children Migrants from South America Spoil The Chances of Immigration Reform in 2014

United States through the southern border, but what is clear is that they have succeeded in spoiling the chances of any meaningful immigration reform this year.

Prior to recent times, the passage of any immigration bill through the Congress would be hard to sell for President Obama. It has now become even harder with the massive children migration to the United States through what appears to be a porous U.S. southern border.

bond_hearing_caseThe immigration law of the United States is not kind to any immigrant with criminal convictions regardless of the gravity of such an offense. Attorney Famuyide Wins Stokes Interview for An Immigrant After Three Denials

attorney_winsThe rule of thumb is simply, don’t give up. It took two regular interviews, two stokes interviews and a huge credit card debt before this elated immigrant was able to prevail at the elusive and dreadful green card interview. It was such a rough ride, but thanks to Attorney Famuyide who worked very hard in clearing all the red flags in the case leading to the approval almost two years into trying.

The green card interview is not a one jacket fit all type of an interview. Some immigrants will find it so easy while some will experience the rough and tumble of Stokes interview before finally obtaining their green cards. There are usually two factors that could lead to a horrific experience at the green card interview; namely the presentation of the case and the officer assigned to the case. Some officers are simply nasty; they do not play by the rule. Some of them make up their mind before the interview after reviewing the file. Majority of the officers follow the law and are humane in their application of the law, but if your case is assigned to the nasty few, you are sure to get Stokes interview regardless of how well you perform.
