President Obama Delays Immigration Benefits Until 2015; Latinos Voting Republican in Nov. Election

president_obama_delaysAs the reign of President Obama as the president of the United States progresses towards the lame-duck stage of his administration, there is a clear indication that there will be no immigration relief these remaining months of the year 2014.

The U.S. Immigration News could garner from the chats of immigration and political pundits that despite all these years and months of promises, President Obama has decided to delay any discussion or issuance of any executive order on immigration until the year 2015. After many years of failing to engineer the passage of any meaningful immigration reform bill, it appears that the Latino voters are not too excited about voting for the Democratic Party anymore. If all the recent election polls are right, many of these voters will either abstain from voting or vote for the Republicans during the midterm election in November.

ebola_reliefAll immigrants and non-immigrants in the United States from Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone must read this article and act appropriately.

This is to inform the general public that the U.S. government has been magnanimous enough to grant some temporary relief to citizens of countries currently being ravaged by Ebola virus who are at the moment in the United States. Even though the relief falls short of the temporary protected status granted to the Haitians during the earthquake, it is a step in the right direction to assist some of the citizens of the affected countries who are currently in the United States.

Law--OrderUK-Freema-Agyem-001Some immigrants will never learn from others mistakes. How can someone spend 10years in the United States under the shadow of illegal status only to get the two year green card using the services of an attorney and now decides to apply to remove the condition without the help of an attorney? What a gamble?

In the past few months, my office has been retained to help clean up the mess created by these immigrants for themselves at a huge cost to them. How can people be penny wise and pounds foolish? Many of these immigrants relied on their friends who told them that they could apply to remove the condition on their permanent resident status without using the services of an attorney. What an error?
